MotoLoop is a companion app for motorcycle riders. This policy explains what data the app collects, why, who can see it, and how you can delete it.

Location is collected only while the app is open or a ride is active, and always with a visible notification while a ride is running. The app does not request background-location access.
Your live location is visible only to riders you have added as friends and who are part of an active ride with you. It is never published publicly, sold, or shared with advertisers. You can stop sharing at any time by ending the ride or closing the app.
All data is encrypted in transit using TLS. Access is restricted by server-side security rules, so users can only read data they are entitled to. We use Firebase App Check to block requests that do not come from a genuine installation of the app.
You can permanently delete your account and its data at any time from Profile → Delete account inside the app.

Your data is kept while your account exists. After deletion, it is removed immediately, except: messages you sent remain in the recipient's conversation, group rides shared with other riders remain for those participants, abuse reports are kept up to 12 months, anonymised crash and analytics data is kept up to 90 days and 14 months respectively, and encrypted backups are purged within 30 days.
MotoLoop is not directed at children and is not intended for anyone under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
You can access, correct, export or delete your data. Use the in-app profile screen, or contact us and we will respond within 30 days.
We will update this page if the app's data practices change, and revise the "last updated" date above.
